Hi everyone! Hope you’re all well 🙂

I recently signed up to BirchBox which is a monthly subscription, You basically get a little box with five beauty product samples, its the same thing as Glossybox basically if you’ve ever heard of that. Anyways i was getting Glossybox but then cancelled my subscription as i felt like the products i were receiving weren’t that great and so thats why I’ve decided to try out Birchbox.

I’ve literally just received my first Box this morning and i already love it! So I’m going to show you guys the products i have in this months box 🙂

This Months box is based on Emojis how cute is that!! So the box is covered in lots of beauty looking emojis and you also get a pack of stickers (is it sad that I’m more excited over the box and stickers than the products inside). Ok so when you open up your box all your products are inside a wash type bag which i find so handy as you can keep them to carry toiletries in for holidays!

Lets take a peek at the products!

Benefit High beam highlighter £19.50 – I already own a full sized bottle of this product and i do really like it and I’m a lover of Benefit makeup. This little bottle will be handy to slip in my bag, just apply a couple of drops to wherever you fancy and then blend away!  This says elevate your complexion to centre stage when you put the spotlight on brow and cheekbones thanks to this award winning highlighter! The pretty pink hue suits all complexions and gives skin an instantly dewy finish we love.

The rituals fortune scrub £10 –  I cannot stop smelling this stuff, it smells amazing!! It has a spicy orange kind of scent to it. we all know how to apply a body scrub just massage into damp skin once or twice a week for smoother skin. ‘Theres no need to choose between your exfoliator and your body wash thanks to this invigorating shower scrub. The uplifting formula is packed with sweet orange and cedar wood to slough away dull skin and reveal fresh, beautifully-scented skin beneath.

Huygens exfoliating cream £17.90 – I think this is an exfoliator but for your face it doesn’t really specify you could probably use it everywhere. Again this smells so good it smells quite minty but not that artificial kind of mint smell it actually smells just like a mint plant! I’m really looking forward to using this. ‘ For a truly flawless base (a la ms Carter herself) its important to slough away dead skin cells to prep your canvas. Gentle enough for daily use, this creamy scrub uses rice powder particles to smooth and purify without irritation’.

Kebelo clarifying shampoo £13.95 – I’ve never used a clarifying shampoo before so I’m quite excited to use this shampoo as I’ve heard good things about them. It has a real nice clean smell to it almost reminds me of baby shampoo, it says you only need to use this once or twice a month so this should last me a while.  ‘ When product build up and styling stress have left your strands looking dull, this deep cleansing shampoo is set to be your hair care saviour. The gentle blend of ingredients detox your hair and scalp, leaving your tresses feeling soft and purified- a fresh start in a bottle!’.

Laura Mercier kohl eye pencil in black violet £17.50 – I don’t tend to use this sort of colour on my eyes but I’m going to give it a go anyways and perhaps experiment with some different looks, I’ve swatched this on my hand and its a nice dark purple colour and the formula is really nice and smooth. ‘ Black liner is so last season a true beauty junkie knows that a colourful cat eye is the only way to make your eyes pop! This ultra creamy, pigmented purple pencil glides beautifully across the eyes for a sophisticated wash of colour’

Illasmasqua hydra veil £32 – Im not 100% on what this actually is haha! By the sounds of it its a primer When i applied it to the bank of my hand it certainly looked like one, it sunk in so quickly and doesn’t have that strange powdery consistency that most primers have. ‘ We’ve all been there, you’ve carefully applied your makeup only to find that the result is a little… well… blah! No more! this intensely nourishing formula instantly re-hydrates and smooths the skin for a radiant complexion’.

Thats all of the products in this Months box guys, I am really pleased with my first box i definitely can’t wait to use these products i will have to have a pamper evening i think. If you guys are thinking of signing up for one of these boxes i highly recommend them, They are about £12 a month but i got this box for £7!! using the code AMELIA at the checkout so there you go save yourself a bit of money 🙂
